Pebbles' Reflection's of 2009!
2009 Will be a year I will never forget. Three and a half years ago Kanzen ni Jrock was just a dream that faded in and out of my mind. Whether it would come to fruition was not something I was too concerned with, as I was already very content with where I was in my career in the music industry. However, life is filled with the unexpected as we all know...
In 2008 the idea of KnJ was back in my mind again, but this time stronger and eating at me more than ever. A feeling of being able to take everything that I had learned in the past six years, told me I was ready to make KnJ a reality. I ran the idea past Henade, who at the time was working with me at another company. He was enthusiastic about it, and thought the idea was worth a shot. Off running we went! After spending a few months putting our heads together, planning out exactly what we wanted our company to be about, and coming up with a name, we were ready to launch! By that time 2008 was coming to an end so we decided January 1st , 2009 would be the big reveal!
Now it is exactly one year later and I am in awe at how quickly KnJ grew. When we started out, we had one official band and a few interviews with some artists. Now we have 4 official artists/bands and more articles, interviews and featured band profiles than I can count on two hands. Not only did we gain a lot of business and attention, but we also learned a lot about running a company, which is obviously not easy. Through the many struggles, mistakes, and pulling our hair out moments, we refused to give up!
I am so proud of our company and I cannot wait to see what 2010 will bring! Here's to yet another successful year! Happy 1st Birthday Kanzen ni Jrock.net!!!
A very big thank you to Henade for being my awesome business partner, my wonderful staff for all of their help and patience, those who mentored us and gave advice when we really needed it, and of course the artists/bands and fans who inspired us to keep going!
