Long time no see everyone. I would be the words used to describe the past few months with the following title, but broken things are always repairable for the most part. Much like anything in life, one thing ends, another begins. Personally, I spent more energy and time on my other type of job more than anything else which brought me to an unfortunate end. Even though me and the other job does not see eye to eye, I do not resent them for their decision. In the end, felt like a bitter defeat, but looking up, it turned into something better than expected. I soon learned a lot of things that once were forgotten and found my place. It may look like it was abandonment which wasn’t my attention, but now I stand with both feet on the ground, on top of everything. Kept ya waiting, huh?

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

After a breif - or rather yet "extended"- away from the very essense of the internet, many new information posted. For one, I been heavily addicted to Golden Bombers. They are a band that is currently missing from the scene in my opinion. It's like someone took Psyco-Le-Cemu and smashed them with An Cafe and sprinkled with VK-like style. Bad description, but that's pretty much how I would decribe it.

Two things that finally posted is the hopefully firstof many hit of the J-rock concert season by Japan Nite, coming back in Los Angeles in March 26th at the Viper Room. I'm pretty sure there is another annoucement that was made that I'm not aware, but though my breif search, could not find it. Second, X Japan postpone their album to summer and exclusive deal with EMI Music and Yoshiki Radio that pops up once a month on XM Radio which starts next month. Of course their "Jade" single at March as well. Regarding about this announcement, I cannot help to think that this will expand the music scene from Japan into America.

Now, I wonder if the annoucement of their release date of their album will be the same day of when the concert dates arrive. Who knows. However, I am very excited about Yoshiki Radio. I'm very curious if this is his project channel or possbly PR, but whatever it takes to expand the J-rock scene, or Japanese music scene in general, I'm all for it.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

What a great time to be in Japan. Sure it maybe colder than Los Angeles (sometimes I doubt that) but the action really heats up! Plenty of bands playing during the last two weeks. The GazettE was in Tokyo Dome. Luna Sea played their old name "Lunacy." 3 days until the year draws to a close (here in America), but that does not stop plenty of bands to bring in the New Year. One event I know I'll be waiting is the Do As Infinity concert! It'll be streamed on Nico Nico Douga for free. Catch is that it is a parcial stream, but better than nothing really. Two Do As Infinity concerts in one year? Oh why can't this band come over to America (again)!?

Concert stream goes live at 8 p.m. Japan time (1 a.m. PST; 2 a.m. MST; 3 a.m. CST; 4 a.m. EST) and the concert itself will start at 7 p.m. Japan time.

Only specs of information released about the future animated movie "Buddah," but so far X Japan comes back to the anime scene with a high budget anime movie that is sure to be an eye opener for even the remotely interested anime fans out there. After dabbling into the anime scene with X/1999, it took a few years until X Japan came back into the anime formula which is fully featured with their music video "Rusty Nail." If you watched the new video that was just released (and [somewhat] understand Japanese), it looks like a really good movie with a profound story. How good from the trailers? Really good. Does it really start the hype? Hard to tell, but for the most part, this will be on all anime fan's radar and maybe some J-rock fans. For the most part, this is a great move for X Japan and maybe, just maybe can unite both the anime scene and the J-rock scene into union that it does not matter which scene you are in; you are there for a great movie that features a legendary band that happens to be a great track which further evolves. I don't know what else I can say until more information comes available, but I know one thing for sure is that this will be promoted on anime conventions for the next few months starting with the Tokyo International Anime Fair and then on. Hey! At least X Japan has an excuse to come into an anime convention and be highly revalent!* Now I can only hope that this film is better than the Saw movies that features other Japanese related bands. Sure Saw IV has it's moments and the latest Saw was more than a mix review than anything else, but with this film can made admends: Saw IV was "ehh..." and even though I was watching it for the X Japan music, did not help on my interest of the film itself.

* Seriously, they do not need to be a part of a new anime since they are revalent enough already (remember SKIN?) but not with the newer and younger crowd. Appeal people! |-|

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

Call it luck or call it great timing but I was so close to miss out on this awesome concert. This is the first time I actually used my Twitter account which I tweeted the songs, thoughts and opinions at the same time as the concert. Recently I got a new cell phone with better capability to get on Twitter, I guess I can use it more? Anyway, great concert and at this present time, Utada-san introducing her backup crew and now herself. It was awesome and certainly felt like I was there. I'm glad that I was able to watch this event before she leaves the music scene. I was on the USTREAM site which at one point hit over 60 thousand viewers! Oh wait, it's not over... hold it... OK, now it's done with the viewer count of over 62 thousand viewers! I had a blast watching this concert. There are two things that were embarassing which was one I pretty much hastely states Simple and Clean during Passions and the second which was no screenshots. :'( Hopefully more streaming concerts soon to come from other bands. Oh! Final song was "Time Will Tell" which really fits since it is unknow when she will be back. Overall, highly enjoy it and as much as I want to get down and probably write something about this, it is well past my sleepy time. Time to knock out.

PS. My twitter is @knj_roy and I am going to be updating more frequently especially during concert times. Maybe a live stream down the road?

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

Got back from Luna Sea concert and it was amazing. It was everything I ever hoped and even more. I waited for a few years to see Luna Sea live and finally at long last I got my chance. Worth it. Also, this marks the end of the Jrock concerts of this year. All is left if the Tune in Tokyo event at the RoyalT in Culver City. It's sad that it's almost a end of a epic year. Although it maybe be the end, still marks a new beginning. Mostly busy which can be implied by the lack of updates. However, I still intend to keep posting more when I get the chance.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.
